That scarf looks so nice and thick.  Nice job!  For some reason, I just never had the patience for knitting.  It takes sooo long @_@

ooh, yay more knitters! I'm currently practicing different stitches and things. I'm finishing up some kind of ugly slippers, but those won't see the intewebs... I mostly blame the pattern that I'm using and the fact that I'm pretty useless when it comes to sewing.

That looks like a cool scarf; I don't have circular needles yet (though I might go shopping for them soon...) and I recently made the mistake of knitting with the stockinette stitch on a scarf so it's all curly. Lessons I have now learned.

Yeah I had to learn that the hard way too xD I made this AWESOME chart for a Death Note scarf and when I went to make it, it was basically a tube with some random stitches on it that you couldn't read unless you pulled it flat xP I was sad.

If you ever need any help/advice/whatever about stitches/knitting, just ask o.o I've been knitting since I was about 17, and while I'm no expert I can maybe at least find you some good yt instructional videos x''D

Gyp, I still want to knit that Tom Baker Doctor Who scarf... >>

You're nuts, but if you actually go through with it and pull it off, you will win respect from Doctor Who fans everywhere. ;)

EDIT: I finally uploaded shots of another necklace.

The lighting is awful, so it is hard to see how each bead is a different color.
Plus, the charm is a lady with a paper umbrella and the charm has an extra loop on the bottom that I could attach something else with, using a tiny jump ring, but I am stumped on what to do. Any ideas?

Gyp, That pendant is really nice^^  I think a small flower charm would look really nice handing from the bottom jump ring.

I've been in need of color lately, so I made a kandi bracelet.  It's thick and heavy using about 350 beads and I love it!  I'm gonna make another that's twice the size and maybe with a more complex pattern and more glow/neon/uv reactive beads.

Are you familiar with etsy, BakaPai?
It is more suited for the handicraft stuff to sell, but, man, soooo much of the stuff posted there is a billion times more awesome than my work. I would seriously go broke buying trinkets and such from stuff on there.

Knit some arm/wrist warmers. The pattern looks decent (though I totally used bad yarn if I actually wanted to see the pattern, ha), but the sizing's kind of weird. Girl on the internet's all "lol I have small wrists and these are snug" so I used a size up of needles (9 to 10) which isn't all that big... but now they're super loose. Ah well, it was a day's work, so.

haha, I keep getting knitting stuff from my mom and my grandma; my mom apparently decided a couple of years back that she wanted to try knitting but now she does quilting instead. So I got to inherit a bunch of her needles and yarn. This is so nice!

Also, Vogue Knitting exists. I must subscribe to this. Vogue. Has a knitting magazine. My mom apparently got it in the 80s and is going to see if she still has a couple of old issues.

These must be SO HARD to knit but I'm really jealous of them.

Some day we should do a knit-a-long and both knit a Tom Baker scarf, because since I've become a Doctor Who fan I want to knit one myself XD

Keep us posted on the progress! ;)

EDIT: I forgot to post some new necklaces I made!

I had an old choker necklace made of amethyst chips that I bought when I was on my honeymoon in Hawaii. Since that style is not working now, I used my tools to take it apart and add some silver beads to it as well as a cute pointy amethyst pendant that I bought a few weeks ago. Voila! New necklace!

When I was in Tucson, AZ, Rob and I went to the Renaissance Faire out there (it is closer to Phoenix and it is HUGE and AWESOME). There was a bead shop there so I got some pretty bits and made a necklace. The swirly blue glass pendant and the blue-and-green-swirl-pattern large accent beads were purchased there as well as the gorgeous deep blue round glass beads. It sort of reminds me of Egyptian and Mesopotamian jewelry or something...

Lastly, my mom's birthday is coming up and I found some metal picture frame charms and some metal beads on clearance so I got them and crafted together a cute necklace starring her five grandkids! I really hope she likes it.
