Everything hurrrts and I'm trying to figure out financesssss but all I want to do after driving for two days is sleep. I hate being a grown up. Buffy, save me! It's on the Chiller network now I guess. Couch surfing = $70 storage units, $130 in RE-REGISTERING your stupid car, and sleeping in living rooms - but hey! Cable!

GIDGET! LETS BRING IT BACK, WOOOOO!

ACTIVITY, YAY! GO, Y!P train, GO! TSUKI RESSSSHAAAAAA SOLEIL MOON FRYYYYYYEEE!

I am in the process of moving BACK to Florida...these past few months I got my B.S. degree in Graphic Design, started a freelance business ( without a studio name and site for now - because I can't decide on anything! But I'm making money by word of mouth, as much side work as I can handle while moving, so hey. Decent! ). I could NOT find a job out here and despite neat friends and theatre friends and boyfriend Iiiii needed money. Prayed about it. Ended up asking my retail boss about a transfer and it turned out that BOOM! They had a full time position 10 minutes from Mom's house. This means nearly a $4/hr raise, 40 hours more a month, annnnnnd Florida has way more design work than Ohio so I should be able to get a foot in the door in the new year.

I was flipping because I'm moving alone and have to take only what goes in my car, a waste of everything I've saved and built up these past two years, but I'm making it work. And I didn't have enough money for gas...and then I got backpay from a client. A bonus check. Sold my art table because a friend HAD to have it. And a stipend from school. When I graduated like 5 months ago. All in the same week. Kind of a GOD IS GOOD moment for the horribly negligent Baptist kid on the lamb.

And Mr. Boyfriend, if he opens his mind to ADVENTURE, may be following. So. I guess this is the right next step? Followed by design job for experience. Followed by DISNEY JOB. FOLLOWED BY PIXAR. FOLLOWED BY MARRYING SETH GREEN OR ANYBODY WHO WILL HAVE ME and rainbows and unicorns and a tiny like Suri Cruise daughter with a heart of gold who likes doing my dishes and ironing clothes when she's old enough and I'll illustrate children's books and be a curvier and sexier Terri Hatcher from Desperate Housewives when I'm not saving the world. With my superpowers. Of art. And words. Talking, good, me.

PURIIIIIIN!! Kristi was TsukinoAnza at mm-bbs a million years ago, and Kiki/Kristi here I think. You know me. Guam! What's the story there, girl? That sounds pretty amazing!

Will, glad you're here! We've all been a bit dead in the water lately it looks like but I know at least the founding little group had a really similar online backstory. Chad, Will, whatever - go by what you like, and own it! WOO!

We should do this posting thing more often, people.

MOOOOOOOOOOOO.

So many mics. My GOD, I had forgotten. The absolute HOURSSSSS. These really do have a polished, polished sound - even without thinking about how much post-file processing you had to do on each piece. You really should be proud.

I miss WS and JKL and Yomusu. I would even mix the current track if I had ever found an understandable (free) Mac program, but it's insanity. Early Yomusu was like 6 months a track, fighting tooth and nail to understand the program and process like 19 different files and 8 different voices and fill-ins and mastering...and it grew. Mostly when Liana took over :D

I miss being an internet popstar with you, though :D I had forgotten some of these. I think it did make us stand out, that we had different textures in so many groups...from so many countries! And in the start, we had a lot of people in various projects that didn't quite get Japanese or pitch or notes....and we worked with them. I remember doing like 2 hour long yahoo chats, clapping and doing phonetic pronunciation and trying to get people to the right notes...remember those MiRC and Yahoo chat days? Awwww. There really was trying, trying to better ourselves and anyone willing to work hard...

YES, KARAOKE BABIES. Have fun forever. Two of the best friends in my life I found through a MiRC chat dub and a singing contest....people I still talk to to this day, andddd I think it's been almost a decade at this point. Doesn't always happen, but anything you do out of the norm or out of your normal culture or comfort zone, anything you strive to learn...that's where you make the lasting relationships and grow more facets as a person.

DAWWW.

GO GO GO GO WE ALIIIIIBE.

...I think Kiss Me Kill Me is a bit of a jam, personally XD And why did I ever think I could hit those Arashi notes?

My Dad decided he wanted a barn mural, the day after I finished my degree. This means that he planned on Kristi standing on scaffolding in mid-July in a field and painting a picture, preferrably an American flag and an Eagle, on his barn. I was like planning? Proportion? Accurate geometric shapes? An Eagle that looks like a flag would be easier!

Day two. Luckily I have a willing art major who likes working big, she's helped immensely...even though we keep doing our blending different. I'm going gradient, she's stippling. We end up switching sides and combining styles. Did you know exterior gloss is a bitch to blend, and stippling for nine hours kills your arms? I'm burnt, I can't stop sniffing, and I am beyond sore. I also work about 30 hours a week, have a client for freelance design, and illustration opportunities...and every day off has been taken by family lately. So I am going nuts. I still haven't made my webpage or business cards, what July was for, and I go out of town in about 10 days so everything must be done before then.

YArrrrrghhh I'm in pain. Two 9 hour painting days outside in one week. Also had today off, but have a very distant family birthday I have to attend and Dad wants to TALK TO THE OLDER CHILDREN about...he won't say, but it's not a bad thing. Next day off is Wednesday, when I will be...duh duh duh!....PAINTING THE EEEAAAAGLLEEE. IN cut off scrub shorts (finger and thumb-pinky). I might have lost it. Meanwhile, my boyfriend works at a fast food place as a part time job while he's finishing his degree and is in a play. If he works, he's tooo tirreeed to come outtt. I was supposed to finish this, and go over there last night. Forget that! I curled up in a ball, yelled at my pets for running through the living room, and blacked out to arrested development.

I want to open a fancy bed and breakfast, only I don't want to deal with guests and they have to wash their own bedding and I'll make fancy pancakes if I feel like it.

Lying on the courch with your laptop can't be a solo activity, of course there's enough room for a puppy on your pillow too! Only not really.

My cool Wolverine mug, which likes to Skype with people and sounds like me growling unintelligibly.

That is BEYOND cool. I saw this a million years ago and just like. Bypassed it, for I am le lame.

I HAD COMMENCEMENT TODAY for a degree I won't officially have earned for two weeks, but w/e. Not really one good picture of me, and they'll be around forever yay, but I wore a bangin' dress under the grad thing so yeehaw. Because clearly that's the most important thing. Nobody be or think like me.

It IS wicked looking though, people. I am le sore. But yes, I have been making jokes about it so no worries. I wish I could like. Show you all my butt though. In a non-sexy way. Because it's INSANE. I also got blood taken today. I need like. A Disney land trip for the clutzy and mildly invalidish.

How long can I resist watching The Avengers. Lets take bets.

I slid down the steps from the bathroom after my shower. Holding my laptop (from listening to music in bath), and saved it. Towel flew off. I bruised myself awfully, it hurts hurts hurts. Slammed my hand. Towel went flying. But laptop safe. And I think I have enough padding to not have chipped a hip but it's a close call. Yowza!

It was forever T_T We get a raise just because the company did well, and we had discussed one for my extra responsibilities but I haven't seen it yet. It's not a big deal, but it's good for part time and I'm looking into post-grad stuffs.

I was club dancing at a Mexican restaurant last night. Clearly, I am going places.

Grumble grumble grumble. I graduate in June, little stressed. New position at work, taking over a department and doing office manager stuff...little stressed. My freelance client goes from wanting a promo site for her purse line to wanting a celebrity website like HGTV. Like. Face EVERYWHERE, even on business cards. To pass out for beginner sewing lessons. NOT SURE WHERE WE ARE ANYMORE.

Can I be the nun that finds herself and then gets dirty? Because she had red hair. And. That's me.
